let's get to know each other

My name is Kelsi

I have always been fascinated by the mind-body connection. My work as a Registered Nurse supporting individuals and families throughout the perinatal journey solidified my belief that healing involves caring for the whole person—not just their physical health, but their emotional wellbeing as well.

Nurtured Nest Collective was created from our shared vision of providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for individuals and families navigating all facets of the perinatal journey.

About Me:

I live on Vancouver Island with my partner, our two daughters, and my fur-st born, Maggie. Outside of work, I love being active, spending time outdoors, travelling with my family, getting out for a run, and settling in with a good book. I value genuine connection, curiosity, and a good sense of humour—things that tend to find their way into my work as a therapist, too.

My path to psychotherapy has been shaped by both my professional and personal experiences. As a Registered Nurse, I had the privilege of supporting individuals and families throughout the perinatal journey. While I loved caring for the physical aspects of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, I became increasingly aware of the emotional experiences that often went unspoken and the need for more dedicated mental health support during this time. My own journey of taking longer than expected to conceive, followed by two pregnancies complicated by hyperemesis gravidarum, further deepened my understanding of how emotionally complex and isolating the perinatal period can be.

These experiences strengthened my passion for perinatal mental health and my belief in the importance of accessible, compassionate support. Whether you are navigating conception, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, or the transition to parenthood, my goal is to provide a warm, collaborative, and culturally responsive space where you feel comfortable being yourself and genuinely heard, understood, and supported.
